# Bothy

> Bothy brings a Catholic organisation's existing website to full AI readiness, shows it what its people are looking for, and adds an optional AI assistant that answers only from its own pages. No rebuild, no change to how the site is edited. Built by Highland for dioceses, parishes, schools, seminaries, Catholic media and religious organisations.

Bothy does three things:

1. **Full AI readiness.** It puts in place and keeps current what AI assistants look for on a website: llms.txt, clean Markdown copies of pages, structured data, an agent card and open access for AI crawlers. A typical diocesan website scores about 40 out of 100; a site running Bothy scores 100.
2. **Know what your people are looking for.** A dashboard and a one-page monthly report for leadership: what people asked the site, what it answers, who is asking and what is coming up. When a common question has no answer, Bothy drafts the request to the office that owns it.
3. **An AI assistant on your site.** Optional and off by default. It answers only from the organisation's own pages, in the visitor's language, hands off to a person when it should, and stays away from topics the organisation chooses.
